The Department of Computer Science and Engineering was established in year 2008. The Department of Computer Science and Engineering focuses on preparing the students for wide range of IT careers equipping them with unique enriching experience of moulding tomorrow’s technocrats with high calibre and commitment. In view of the great interest towards CSE and its immensity of growth, the Department has developed 10 state-of-art computer labs where the main focus is on the development of logical reasoning in all practical applications. The student association of the department periodically organizes seminars, symposia and guest lectures for students.

Students of this department realize the expectations of the industry by grabbing worthwhile positions in some of the top score software/hardware organization’s in India like Microsoft, Persistent Systems, Zensar Technologies, TechMahindra , PurpleTaIk, EA Mobile, CSC, Computer Associatates, etc.

Short Term Goals:

To Maintain 100% Pass Percentage for UG and PG Programs

To Conduct two Faculty Development Program in a Year

To Conduct three Workshops and three Seminars per Year

To Maintain 80% Placements per Year

To Organizes training program on advanced technologies and software tools to inculcate professional behavior in students through seminar, group discussion, mock interviews etc.,

Long Term Goals:

To increase the student intake for the UG Programs.

To start additional Post Graduate Program in the department.

To develop consultancy work for IT Sector.

To undertake research and software development activities in collaboration with leading industries.

To establish centre of excellence lab foe research and developments work.
